“…Joe Biden declared that America was back when he got elected. There was no underlying reason for the declaration other than ‘I’m a Democrat, and I’m different.’ The world ate it up. The liberals ate it up. Everyone thought the norms, which many have erroneously thought were not followed, would return. The adults were back in charge. That all fell apart in less than a year. Afghanistan showed what many of us already knew about Joe Biden and this administration. They’re appalling at foreign policy. There’s a forty-year track record of Joe Biden being utterly incorrect in this area. The Afghan dash last August finally showed Europe that this guy really isn’t some ace on international affairs. His diminished mental capacity also doesn’t help.
In the aftermath of the Kabul catastrophe, Europe would obviously remain our ally, but these nations had contingency plans for when this administration became a ‘deer in the headlights’ again. We might be seeing that with Ukraine. Russia has launched a full-blown invasion. Now, we have signed off on arms packages that are flowing into the nation, but it’s the steps after the initial arms packages are delivered that seem to be posing trouble.
You see that with this Polish-US dispute over whether to transfer old MiG fighter jets to Ukraine. We supposedly green-lit this move with the jets. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said so last weekend. Now, the Pentagon says this move is untenable. Biden’s crew was supposedly taken by surprise by this proposal from Poland…

Unthinking nonsense. Pure politics. They cannot replace our current sources of energy with wind and solar. it does not work. Germany tried it and it failed. Failure does not deter these Democrats. Failure appears to be a preferred outcome. Failure while pursuing the preferred Democrat fantasies of the moment results in personal political capital inside the “fail-up” system.
Clean energy sources that are viable partial options include dam-based energy production, geothermal, and nuclear. Not much else.
Power grids based on wind fail when the wind does not blow.
Power grids based on solar fail when the sun does not shine.
There is no viable method to store energy on a regional grid system.
This is not complicated.

It is not clear that the U.S. government has done anything wrong or untoward. What is clear is that they appear to be telling half-truths and obfuscating in an attempt to cover something up.

“…It was a real “Let Them Eat Cake” moment for Secretary Pete, but there is a method to his madness: the administration isn’t just out of touch, it is actively trying to use this crisis to impose its green agenda. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) chief Michael Regan confirmed that on Monday.
The Sacramento Bee reported that Regan was at the White House, along with Buttigieg and alleged Vice President Kamala Harris, to announce “proposed limits on new buses and large trucks to curb some of their greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% in the next decade.” In the course of his remarks, Regan boasted, “We’re pressing the accelerator to reach a zero-emissions future sooner than most people thought.”
Nothing presses the accelerator to reach a zero-emissions future more effectively than gas prices rising so high that driving a carbon-emitting car is simply too expensive.
At the Monday White House event, Harris was likewise enthusiastic, saying, “We are all in the midst of a turning point. We have the technology to transition to a zero-emission fleet. We can address the climate crisis and grow our economy at the same time.”
We are all in the midst of a turning point, and the green energy forces are not going to let it go to waste. On Tuesday, Old Joe Biden said that the situation was going to get worse, as prices are “gonna go up,” and that he couldn’t do anything about it. “Can’t do much right now.
