“…With the reported discovery of a second batch of highly classified documents connected to President Biden, the decisions of Attorney General Merrick Garland are fast moving from the inexplicable to incomprehensible.
Garland was presumably briefed that classified documents were discovered in Joe Biden’s old office on Nov. 2. He also presumably knew about the Biden documents when he appointed a special counsel to investigate the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago 16 days later.
At the time of the appointment of Jack Smith, some of us noted the inexplicable refusal of Garland to appoint a special counsel to look into alleged Biden influence peddling and other crimes.
Garland continued to refuse such an appointment even as he justified the appointment of Smith on the basis that Trump was running for the presidency. Joe Biden is the president. What is the difference?…”
With all the talk about #gasstoves and alleged health threats, it's worth providing some background on where the research currently is on this issue, and how the feds suddenly decided these appliances are a health risk.

The decision was discovered by the parent of a student at the school who earned an award but was never notified. Kosatka, the student services administrator, admitted that a decision had been made to downplay the awards to avoid hurting the feelings of other students.
All of this is in keeping with the general push toward equity over excellence in schools. The goal is no longer to push students to excel it’s to make sure that everyone feels good. So it’s probably no surprise then that the failure to notify students of their National Merit Awards didn’t just happen at this one Fairfax County school. Last week, two more high schools sent out emails admitting they had also failed to inform students of the awards…”
