Remember that the last Republican mayor of Chicago left office in 1931. Democrats hold elected and appointed office up and down the power scale and have done so for decades. This is a Democrat city. The problems in the city are Democrat created problems. The failures in the city are Democrat failures in public policy.
The Mayor’s attempt to blame others is a typical Democrat response to self-created problems.
