Democrat Van Hollen Travels to Deported Migrant in El Salvador
The El Salvador citizen was in the U.S. illegally. He had been through the immigration court system extensively. In 2019 a court found him to be a member of the MS-13 gang and found him to be a danger to his community. The judge issued a deportation order, but excluded El Salvador as a destination because the man claimed a gang may kill him if he returned. An immigration appeals court reaffirmed the lower court decision including the man’s affiliation with a criminal gang and that he is a danger to his community. The man has an outstanding deportation order and had been living in the U.S, illegally since his arrival.
This is who Mr. Van Hollen considers to be his constituent.
Pure stupidity.
Somehow Democrats have convinced themselves this is a winning issue for them.
If Van Hollen was somehow to bring this man back to the U.S., they would be met at the airport where the illegal alien would be arrested and deported a second time.
Democrats are lost.
