The midterm election is important. If democrats gain control of the house or senate they will try to undo Trump policies.
“…Six months ago, Republicans in Congress joined with President Trump to redesign America’s tax code and enact sweeping tax cuts. We were determined to let families and local businesses keep more of what they earn. The new tax code was built to help American companies and workers compete and win anywhere in the world.
Now something big is happening to America’s economy. Since January, more than one million jobs have been created. This has brought claims for unemployment benefits to their lowest level since 1969, and there are now actually more job openings than people looking for work. The U.S. has gone from a nation asking “Where are the jobs?” to one that asks “Where are more workers?”…”
Old politicians, democrat or republican, not much difference. They defend their territory.
McCain minority staff director Henry Kerner to IRS official Lois Lerner and other IRS officials:

The latest dispatch from the education apocalypse. Ethics-free in this context means not corrupted by social justice ideology.
“…According to a new textbook written by a professor at the University of Exeter, learning mathematics can cause “collateral damage” to society because it “provides a training in ethics-free thought.”
“Reasoning without meanings provides a training in ethics-free thought,” Paul Ernest writes in “The Ethics of Mathematics: Is Mathematics Harmful?” — a chapter of his book The Philosophy of Mathematics Education Today.
In an abstract for the book, Ernest claims that although he does “acknowledge that mathematics is a widespread force for good,” “there is significant collateral damage caused by learning mathematics.”…”
“…The structure of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is unconstitutional, according to federal district Judge Loretta Preska of the Southern District of New York.
Preska ruled Thursday that having the agency’s setup as an independent agency headed by one director who can only be removed by the president for wrongdoing defies the Constitution.
Additionally, Preska also determined that the section of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act that created the agency should be cut.
‘I would strike Title X in its entirety,’ the ruling claims.
The decision goes against a previous ruling from a federal appeals court in Washington in January, increasing the chances the case will head to the Supreme Court.
The CFPB was established in 2010 under the Obama administration in an attempt to address the global financial crisis. It was created and staffed largely by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass, prior to her election to the Senate in 2012…”
Best article I’ve read in some time.
“…U.S.—After President Trump signed an executive order ending the separation of illegal immigrant children from their parents, several news networks slammed the president for prematurely ending the news story they were endlessly milking for ratings.
Right after Trump ordered the end of the family separation policy, MSNBC, CNN, and dozens of other news outlets raked the president over the coals for taking away their 24/7 topic of discussion. Representatives for multiple stations confirmed that they were “really counting on” the immigration crisis to go on for another month or two in order to keep their ratings high…”
He was an inspiration for me.
Rest in peace.
He will be missed.
I have missed him on FOX for sometime.
This is an article about the immigration nonsense in the media. This short snippet sums up my take perfectly.
“…It should also be noted that the media coverage of the border orphans is the most dishonest, unhinged, detestable conspiracy they have ever undertaken.
Finally, these dishonest goons have found their Russian gulags to pin on President Trump..”.

You can’t make this stuff up!
“…One of the activists who chased Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen out of a Mexican restaurant Tuesday night over the Trump administration’s immigration policies is an employee of the Department of Justice, The Daily Caller News Foundation has confirmed.
Members of the Washington, D.C., chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America crashed Nielsen’s meal with a demonstration full of chants and other outbursts.
One of those participants, Allison Hrabar, actually works for the Trump administration — as a paralegal in the DOJ…”
The IG report on Obama FBI/DOJ/CIA anti-Trump, pro-Clinton bias and the senate and house hearings on the matter are effectively destroying any credibility that may still exist on the Trump-Russia investigation.
To deflect from this reality, the democrats and the left media have launched a coordinated attack on the immigration policies of the Trump Administration. The level of vitriol on the left has reached a new crescendo of screaming and wailing. Insanity is displayed 24/7 on cable news and repeated endlessly in print. The level of craziness is an indicator of how much the IG report hurts the left.
The Ranking Member on the House Oversight Committee, Elijah Cummings, took his time to question IG Horowitz and Director Wray on the Clinton e-mail matter to instead talk about immigration. The idea is to give left media video clips to lead television discussions, and talking points to create articles for print media.
Media savvy Americans will not fall for these tricks. This is 2018, not 1988.
“…It was a 150-1 shot.
That’s where Ladbrokes set the odds when Donald Trump announced three years ago that he was running for president.
I guarantee that nobody in either political establishment took that bet from the London bookies when the New York billionaire descended down that escalator with wife Melania, announcing that he was going to stop illegal immigration, rip up unfair trade deals and make America great again.
He was a joke, a laughingstock, an afterthought. He had no chance against the powerful Bush family or Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), the great hope of the Republican consultant class.
In full disclosure, I was one of those doubting Thomases, a prisoner of my own set of expectations. I saw a path forward for John Kasich, the talkative Ohio governor, but not for The Donald. Trump didn’t have the experience or the know-how or the backing of anybody who mattered in politics.
But it turned out that what mattered was not the consultant class or the experts or political whiz-kids. What mattered was the voters. And the voters had grown to detest a political establishment that refused to change the status quo, refused to stop illegal immigration, refused to stop the flow of jobs from the Rust Belt to Mexico, Vietnam and China, refused to care about their concerns about how globalization was destroying the America they once knew and loved…”

One thing that social media has done for us is expose the utter incompetence, stupidity, and self-involved vacuity of the people in charge of leading our institutions.
“…Over the weekend, former CIA Director Michael Hayden displayed the calm reflection and sense of proportion for which Donald Trump’s opponents are known by likening the separation of illegal border crossers from their children to the Holocaust…Yes, Trump’s Immigration Policy Is Just Like the Holocaust, Except for the Genocide: Nazi analogies do not strengthen the case against forcibly separating illegal border crossers from their children…”

Nikki Haley deserves higher office.
“…Haley calls global body ‘a cesspool of political bias’; announces US departure after protracted criticism of its obsessive focus on Israel; US official says move is ‘immediate’…”
The hyper righteousness, holier-than-thou sermonizing, insane comparisons to Nazi Germany, and other democrat and media commentary on illegal immigrant separation from children on arrest, is directly related to the senate and house hearings with the IG and the corruption and bias in the Obama FBI/DOJ/CIA. It is intended to misdirect, confuse, and otherwise shift the media narrative from the IG report to immigration.
