Congressman Dr. Paul Gosar (AZ) has sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services [HHS] demanding a “full review of all HHS health care systems nationally to ensure full compliance with vaccine injury reporting laws including reporting all adverse events occurring after the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine.”

It’d be a shame if a few thousand Texans go to the border on horseback this week.

He claims new evidence just surfaced. That’s not true. The evidence has been in the public since before the 2020 election. CIVIL WAR ON THE LEFT (78): IRON DOME EDITION

“…A few days ago “progressive” Democrats (in) the House succeeded in getting the  Appropriations Committee to strip out $1 billion in U.S. funding for Israel’s “Iron Dome” missile defense program, which relies on a lot of U.S.-made technology such that the Iron Dome appropriation is something of an export subsidy, from the continuing resolution to keep the feddie guvmint operating through the end of the year.

This did not set well with “mainstream” Democrats, and today the House brought up a standalone bill to provide funding for Iron Dome. It passed 420-9-2. Yes, you are reading that box score correctly. Two House members voted “present.” One of them was Squad Queen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Her fellow Squad members mostly voted No on the proposal. The No votes comprising the House Democratic Anti-Semitic Caucus were: Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.), André Carson (D-Ind.), Marie Newman (D-Ill.), Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), Cori Bush (D-Mo.) and Chuy Garcia (D-Ill.) A fairly recognizable list.

(The lone Republican vote against it was from Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, and I have no idea what to make of him.)

There is one report that Ocasio-Cortez was near tears on the House floor as she cast her “Present” vote. No doubt.

There has been NO unusual excess mortality. The press has called 2020 the UK’s “deadliest year since world war two”, but this is misleading because it ignores the massive increase in the population since that time. A more reasonable statistical measure of mortality is Age-Standardised Mortality Rate (ASMR). By this measure, 2020 isn’t even the worst year for mortality since 2000, In fact since 1943 only 9 years have been better than 2020.

Similarly, in the US the ASMR for 2020 is only at 2004 levels. These figures refer to all-cause excess mortality and may include non-covid excess deaths. Official data from the US and the UK indicate that in some countries, up to one third of all excess deaths may not be due to covid, but due to indirect effects of the pandemic and lockdowns.
