I have no sympathy (or very little) for Alec Baldwin, but the usual bottom dwellers and blood sucking insects are crawling out of their cracks to feast on the tragedy. I’ll wait for the findings of an official investigation before I comment. It looks to me like a simple mistake and terrible tragedy.

“…One of their more enduring myths is the story that Democrats and their flying monkeys in the mainstream media have been spinning about what happened in Ferguson, Mo., in early August of 2014. Yes, Michael Brown was fatally shot by officer Darren Wilson.
That’s pretty much the last fact that the right and left in America agree on.
The story that grew out of that galvanized the nascent Black Lives Matter movement and brought it into the spotlight. “Hands up, don’t shoot!” was being repeated everywhere. Brown never actually said that but that didn’t matter once it was repeated for the thousandth time in the MSM. Despite the fact that Wilson was never indicted and even the Obama Dept. of Justice debunked a lot of the false narrative, prominent Democrats still love lying about Ferguson.

Yes, we’re writing about it here at conservative media outlets but it’s a safe bet that The New York Times or The Washington Post won’t be exhibiting any curiosity about this latest mendacious word barf from the always execrable Rep. Bush. She could start telling stories about being attacked by a ship full of space alien invaders who all look like Donald Trump and there would be shrugs all around in the MSM.

In the age of rage, there appear fewer and fewer actions that are beyond the pale for politics. Take Adam Schiff and the Steele dossier. While even the Washington Post has admitted that it got the Russian collusion story wrong in light of the findings of Special Counsel John Durham, House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is still insisting that he was absolutely right to promote the discredited Steele dossier. Schiff’s interview on NBC’s Meet the Press may be the final proof of the death of shame in American politics.
Schiff was one of the greatest promoters of the Steele dossier despite access to briefings casting doubt about Steele and the underlying claims. However, Schiff recently has attempted to defend himself by claiming that Steele was a respected former spy and that he was lied to by a Russian source.
Schiff told host Chuck Todd:
“I don’t regret saying that we should investigate claims of someone who, frankly, was a well-respected British intelligence officer. And we couldn’t have known, of course, years ago that we would learn years later that someone who is a primary source lied to him. [Igor] Danchenko lied to Christopher Steele and then lied to the FBI. He should be prosecuted. He is being prosecuted. And I’ll tell you this, if he’s convicted, he should not be pardoned the way Donald Trump pardoned people who lied to FBI agents, like Roger Stone and Mike Flynn. There ought to be the same standard in terms of prosecuting the liars. But I don’t think there ought to be any pardon, no matter which way the lies cut.”

Over the last 10 years Democrats (and liberal media) have achieved a special skill in defeating or otherwise ignoring the normal human emotions of shame and embarrassment. Many Democrats have none of either, though both are well deserved.

The Media’s Verdict on Kyle Rittenhouse

I thought he drove across state lines, to Kenosha, Wisc., with an illegally acquired semi-automatic rifle to a town to which he had no connection. I thought he went there because he knew there were Black Lives Matter protests and he wanted to start a fight. And I thought that by the end of the evening of August 25, 2020, he had done just that, killing two peaceful protestors and injuring a third.
It turns out that account was mostly wrong.
Unless you’re a regular reader of independent reporting — Jacob Siegel of Tablet Magazine and Jesse Singal stand out for being ahead of the pack (and pilloried, like clockwork, for not going along with the herd) — you would have been served a pack of lies about what happened during those terrible days in Kenosha. And you would have been shocked over the past two weeks as the trial unfolded in Wisconsin as every core claim was undermined by the evidence of what actually happened that night.
This wasn’t a disinformation campaign waged by Reddit trolls or anonymous Twitter accounts. It was one pushed by the mainstream media and sitting members of Congress for the sake of an expedient political narrative—a narrative that asked people to believe, among other unrealities, that blocks of burning buildings somehow constituted peaceful protests…”
