‘Sleep is racist’: Teen Vogue explains how two women are addressing systemic racism in sleep

Andrea Widburg:
“…The National Museum of African American History is a part of the vast Smithsonian Institution, a group of museums and research centers that taxpayers fund. That’s why it was especially shocking to learn that the museum is promoting the worst kind of racial claptrap at its website.
The museum’s website simultaneously encourages the pernicious notion that there’s systemic racism in America, accuses all whites of being racists, and argues that behaviors that are a predicate to American prosperity are inherently white – implying both that blacks lack these laudable behaviors and that blacks are betraying their race if they embrace them.
The deeply offensive, taxpayer-supported webpage is entitled “Whiteness: Since white people in America hold most of the political, institutional, and economic power, they receive advantages that nonwhite groups do not.” By translating the mixture of simplistic, condescending language and academic gobbledygook found at the page, we see the museum making the following assertions:
America’s dominant culture is normalized whiteness, which makes all other races “inferior or abnormal.” Because white people are the only “normal” people in America, everyone else is at a disadvantage. Normalized whiteness ensures that all others in America are victims of constant microaggressions that “communicate hostile, derogatory, or harmful messages.”
All of the above creates an insurmountable white privilege. No matter how marginalized whites are, they’re still white, which is not, and never can be, fair…”

Silvio Canto, Jr.:
“…Blue wave in Texas? Let’s look at some numbers.
On Tuesday, Texas Democrats nominated Mary “M.J.” Hegar to run against Senator John Cornyn. Miss Hegar defeated State Senator Roy West. Altogether, less than 1 million Democrats showed up to vote: 52-47% or 40,000 votes.
It was a contested election with lots of radio ads. Most of the ones I heard were about the West campaign, claiming that Hegar was not a liberal. On the other hand, she promoted her electability.
I understand that COVID-19 was a factor but compare these numbers with the first round in March.
Senator Cornyn got 1.4 million votes in the GOP primary and the entire Democrat ballot less than 1 million again.
So less than a million pre-COVID-19 and about the same during the pandemic.
By the way, President Trump got 1.9 million votes in March compared to 1.7 million for the top six Democrats.
Is Texas turning blue? I don’t think so and these numbers confirm my opinion…”

You may not criticize liberal media!
STACEY LENNOX:
“…Such was the fate of the hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, and zinc combination. Scientifically there was every reason to believe it would work. Clinically, doctors saw results when directly treating patients. Several recommended that the drug be produced in sufficient amounts and given early and outpatient.
President Trump expressed optimism based on studies in France and China, and the media freaked out. The president’s political opposition would go on to cling to any proof the drug would not work and suppress any information that it would. This politicization culminated in the horrific study published by Lancet that the publication quietly retracted.
However, the damage was already done. The World Health Organization suspended trials immediately after the study published in Lancet. Switzerland, which had been using the treatment, prohibited the use of the drug in COVID-19 shortly after that on May 27th. The retraction was so stealth that the ban was not lifted in Switzerland until June 11th.
This window allowed French researchers to analyze what happened in the entire population of COVID-19 patients during the ban. They used the case fatality rate (CFR) as the measure observed. The graph is stunning

It also the only period where the Swiss CFR approached or exceeded that in France where there has been no use of hydroxychloroquine outside a few isolated trials.

Listen to this man. This is how you play sports. This is how you conduct business. You play to win, or you don’t play. Rose should be in the hall of fame.
Contrast this with the age of participation trophies.

Politics and unanticipated economic response to government policies.
I feel bad for Jeff Sessions, who I think is a good man that got caught up in deep state machinations.
I don’t like the communist government. I don’t wish this on the Chinese people.
