Democrats uniformly support the rioters and looters and blame the federal government and police for instigating violence. It is a remarkable position for a national party to take. It is contrary to overwhelming video evidence, which they seem to completely ignore and deny.
House Judiciary Committee Hearing with A.G. Barr
I watched portions of the Judiciary Committee hearing including opening statements from Chairman Jerold Nadler, Ranking Member Jim Jordan, and the witness Attorney General Bill Barr.
I watched some of the questioning. It was a circus. I can’t say I was surprised. Our government seems dysfunctional. My perception is that the Democrats have adopted the position that nothing President Trump or his administration does is positive or even neutral. Everything the administration does is wrong. Not only wrong, but criminally and morally repugnant. This also applies to officials such as the attorney general. The Democrats on the dais were uniformly hostile, rude, accusing, and outright disrespectful to the A.G. Democrats refused to allow the A.G. to respond to questions and routinely cut him off mid-sentence.
The Democrats, supported by liberal media, seem to be in denial about the nature of the riots in Portland and Seattle and other cities. The Democrats seem to have adopted the position of supporting lawlessness and the rioters and looters. The Democrats seem to be blaming the federal government for attacking “peaceful” protesters and creating the hostility. It is a position wholly devoid of truth. A position that I believe will hurt them in the polls.
It was hard to watch and I lasted less than an hour. I can’t imagine a normal person wanting to be a part of the disgusting circus on display yesterday. I have been involved in some contentious business meetings, but I have never seen the childish antics and poor behavior uniformly deployed yesterday. I guess it is the desire for power. I don’t know.

An underlying truth
Many Americans believe that more freedoms bring more inequality
Freedom to succeed and freedom to fail in equal measure. You are responsible for yourself. No government can save you or relieve you of basic responsibilities of life.
Setting people up for failure
In the same way that so many charges against police officers involved in shootings or killings of black Americans wind up being dismissed, or with verdicts of not guilty, so too the MSM/Democrat driven push-polling results based on oversampling Democrats, and other polling tricks designed to portray Biden with a big lead over Trump will wind up totally wrong.
The net effect is to establish a feeling, or anticipation, in Democrat voters that their candidates and causes will prevail, when the opposite has at least a 50% chance of occurring, probably greater than 50% chance.
The wailing and lamentations of Democrat crazies following the 2016 election are just a foretaste. A foretaste of a bitter cup of disappointment that will likely be prepared by American voters and served in November. The new disappointments will drive the mentally weak, the self-hating, the falsely righteous, into new spasms of grief and new expressions of violence.
