“…After  — including Abraham Lincoln High — for historical imperfections, San Francisco school board is fast-tracking a plan to end merit-based admissions for Lowell High School, one of the top high schools in California, reports David Li for NBC News.

The board is on track to approve a resolution to admit students to Lowell (which will be renamed) by lottery, rather than grades and test scores. Selectivity “perpetuates the culture of white supremacy and racial abuse towards Black and Latinx students,” states the resolution.

The real issue is Chinese supremacy. Of Lowell’s 2,871 students, 50.6 percent are Asian, mostly Chinese, in a district that’s 33.4 percent Asian, reports Li. Whites are slightly over-represented (18.1 percent at Lowell, 14.9 percent districtwide), while Hispanics (11.5 percent vs. 28.2 percent) and Blacks (1.8 percent vs. 6.4 percent) are under-represented. (Looking at 2018-19 data, I get 63 percent Asian/Filipino with 4 percent multi-racial and some decline-to-state students.)

“Exam schools” for high achievers are controversial everywhere: They always have “too many” Asians and Whites, too few Blacks and Hispanics. An elite Virginia school may switch to a lottery for academically qualified students, reports Education Week.  But the San Francisco plan doesn’t limit the lottery to A or B or even C students. The renamed Lowell will be just another high school…”

Rodger’s claim that the First Amendment does not protect the right to lie runs contrary to multiple Supreme Court decisions that have upheld the right to use false statements, with the exception of defamation. Roger’s later corrected her misstatement.

Biden State Dept. Spox Calls Cops ‘Blue Klux Klan,’ and Largest Threat to U.S. National Security’

“Porter’s comments were made on Sept. 20, 2016, and appear to be in reference to video footage released that day of an unarmed black man being shot by police officers in Tulsa, Oklahoma. “An unarmed Black man takes a knee for justice, bigots riot,” she wrote in the post. “An unarmed black man (with his hands raised) takes a bullet and dies, these same bigots are silent. Explain this to me, please.”

“…The shooting victim, Terence Crutcher, was under the influence of PCP and TCP at the time of the incident according to an autopsy.

A jury found the shooting officer to be not guilty in May of 2017, stating in the verdict: “it is clear to the Jury after intensely studying the video, still photos, and testimony that the windows to the SUV driven by Terrance Crutcher that evening were open and that the Jury believes from said evidence that Terrance Crutcher did in fact reach into the window disobeying the instructions of the police officers on location.”

The jury added that “any officer put in that situation at that exact moment and regardless of the skin color, gender or size of the suspect, would have performed the same way, which is in accordance with their law enforcement training.”

In another September 2016 post, Porter referred to police officers as the “Blue Klux Klan.”

Porter also participated in the media hit against Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann, calling the then-16-year old a “terrorist” in January of 2019.

Sandmann has sued multiple news outlets over their sloppy and one-sided coverage of his January 2019 encounter with an elderly Native American activist in Washington DC.

The teen and his classmates had been in D.C. for the March For Life and were waiting for their bus to take them home to Kentucky when they were accosted by a black separatist fringe group known for making outrageous, racist, anti-gay statements, and Phillips who loudly banged his drum inches away from Sandmann’s face.

Sandmann, trying to diffuse the situation, stoically faced the Phillips with a smile on his face.

But because he and a few other students were wearing Make America Great hats they picked up in a D.C. gift shop, the agenda-driven Democrat media complex put the worst possible spin  on the minor event.

Thanks to their vicious smears, Sandmann, his classmates,  and their families became the subjects of threats and harassment from a hateful online outrage mob.

The deputy spokesperson for Biden’s Sec. of State was one of those people.

Porter is a former staffer of Rep. Cedric Richmond, (D-LA), who is now a White House senior adviser.

According to One America News Network correspondent Jack Posobiec, Politico was tipped this story, but turned it down.

Punished for his scholarship, University of North Texas music professor files federal lawsuit

“…When University of North Texas music professor Timothy Jackson published an essay critical of a fellow music scholar’s speech on “music theory’s white racial frame,” UNT graduate students and faculty demanded that Jackson face punishment for expressing those views, which they deemed “racist and unacceptable.” Jackson has now filed a federal lawsuit against the university, a graduate student, and several faculty members.

In August, UNT launched an investigation of Jackson, announcing its intention to “reaffirm our dedication to combatting [sic] racism on campus and across all academic disciplines.” Jackson was subsequently removed from the academic journal he founded.

Last week, Jackson filed a lawsuit against UNT for First Amendment retaliation, arguing that the investigation into his journal, and his department chair’s decision to block Jackson from future involvement with the journal, were all done in retaliation for Jackson’s expression of views out-of-step with the prevailing campus orthodoxy…”

…Where will all, the electricity needed to power to entire fleet of cars in the US (or Japan) come from? Despite the fantasies of greenies, it won’t be from windmills or solar farms. They are too unreliable, take up too much land, and cost too much. Right now, it is coal and natural gas that produce the most electricity at the most reasonable cost.  And they emit CO2. Plus, there is considerable loss of power due to resistance in the transmission lines, requiring an even greater amount of gross power before the net power reaches the battery in the vehicle, charging at the user’s home ort some other location.  Nuclear power does offer some potential, but how many people want to live near the hundreds and hundreds of nuclear power plants that would be required to fuel the nation’s vehicles?

Then there is the small matter of batteries. The very large batteries needed for electric cars use lots of expensive lithium (and some other rare elements) whose supply is limited, and whose mining requires lots of scarce water. In fact, powering the world’s vehicles by battery is simply impossible, given the limited world supply of lithium…”

After such a clangorous term in the White House, bracketed by the uproarious election campaigns of 2016 and 2020, he lives to fight another day and remains unambiguously at the head of the greatest single bloc of voters ever bound to an individual by personal voting loyalty in the history of the country. 

A number of the most popular presidents in the past undoubtedly had larger followings as percentages of the numbers of voters: both Roosevelts, Reagan, and possibly Eisenhower. All of them enjoyed what it is now fashionable to call almost cultish popularity, but it was a smaller electorate in those times, and all of those leaders followed traditional paths to the White House, up the political ladder, or by earning the gratitude and admiration of the nation through high distinction in supreme military command at a critical time—General Eisenhower was a world-historic figure before he was elected president.  

There is a new president and there is also what only occasionally occurs in the United States—an inter-election, de facto, leader of the opposition. The last time that someone lost a presidential election in circumstances that enabled him to campaign plausibly as the almost certain challenger of the person who defeated him was Andrew Jackson in 1824, after he led the polls but without an electoral college majority. His opponents in the election, John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay, combined to elect Adams in the House of Representatives and Clay, the speaker of the House, became the Secretary of State.

There has never been such a prolonged and frenzied hostility to any president from the political class as President Trump faced throughout his term, and next week, there will be an unusual political turning point as Trump’s enemies have a final parting with Trump-hate as a substitute for government and politics. The narrow victory of his enemies at the election will be countered by the abject failure of this insane attempt to impeach him. 

Trump did not incite the 300,000 followers whom he addressed in Washington on January 6 to do anything except “peacefully and patriotically to make (their) voices heard” by the Congress. No one was attempting an insurrection, even the hooligans who led the assault and vandalism. 

In attempting to remove the ex-president from an office he does not hold for incitements he did not make to an insurrection that was not attempted, Trump’s enemies confess to an obsessive irrationality. They are unable to emancipate themselves from their hatred of the former president and to execute the razor-thin mandate to govern they have been given…”

U. Central Florida Fires Dissident Prof. Charles Negy After 8-Month Retaliatory Investigation

“…Defenders of academic freedom and freedom of speech throughout academia should be rallying to the defense of University of Central Florida Professor Charles Negy after egregious retaliation against him for expressing constitutionally protected views on Twitter.

The American Association of University Professors, the premier faculty organization defending academic freedom, should be marshalling its substantial resources and committees behind Prof. Negy, as it has done for other professors over the decades. Public interest lawyers and law professors across the land should be volunteering their services.

Instead, Negy stands almost alone against the administrative and legal weight of the massive publicly-funded UCF.

There has been near silence because Negy’s protected speech was critical of the prevailing campus racial politics. In the age of Black Lives Matter dominance on campuses, anything that questions the prevailing racial narrative could be a career-ender.

Negy’s alleged crime that sparked the controversy was two tweets questioning the orthodoxy of systemic racism and white privilege.
