Democrat-led states threaten to sue Trump over voter database executive order

Arizona, California, Maine and Oregon immediately vowed to sue the Trump administration over the executive order, Fox News reported.

“We’re challenging it,” California Gov. Gavin Newsom posted on X on Tuesday, sharing a clip of Trump signing the order. “See you in court.”

Arizona Democratic Secretary of State Adrian Fontes told The Associated Press: “It is just wrongheaded for a president of the United States to pretend like he can pick his own voters. That’s just not how America works…”

I listened to the oral arguments live and I was flabbergasted by KBJ’s commentary which closely aligned with the ACLU attorney’s.

Don’t get cocky. While I think the government clearly had the better case, conservative justices were doing all they could to figure out how to punt. Not so, Alito and Thomas.
