Democrats circle the cognitive dissonance wagons in a desperate attempt to rationalize continued support for this nutjob in the face of their deeply held and conflicting beliefs.

Many New York Democrats apparently think that an anti-Semite communist preaching government control, defund the police, and other lefty pieties is the answer. Communist/socialist policies will work this time because – reasons. Push a little deeper on the reasons and you get the proverbial, “shut up! Racist.”
