There is too much to repost here, but Crowdstrike was identified as the entity that would provide evidence for the media that Russia hacked the DNC after the DNC refused to turn over their servers to the FBI. The FBI knew this. Here is Comey confirming the Crowdstrike role, and at the same time apparently lying to congress and the American people:
