Balsillie is a Canadian patriot. He is a natural friend and ally of America. He takes offense at Trump’s aggressive actions with Canada, which I understand. He is a man we can work with and a man we want to work with. This is an interesting conversation and an interesting take on Canada’s current conditions.
I think Balsillie is overthinking Trump’s tariffs on Canada. Fix your border, stop drugs from coming into the U.S., drop Canadian tariffs on American goods and the tariff threat goes away.
I fault Peterson for not discussing the specifics of Trump’s actions.
