There should be extreme criminal penalties for arson. We live in a time of mentally deranged people exacerbated by irresponsible media and politicians acting out their psychoses.

Came outside this morning and the first thing I could smell was smoke. No fires reported on the island.

I think this is an international phenomenon. A wildfire arsonist was recently caught in our area. I understand the majority of fires everywhere, something like 80%, are caused by humans one way or another. Where an arsonist causes the loss of human life, they should face a potential death penalty.
