Liberal memes of the week

“Patel, a former federal prosecutor, said he does not believe ‘for a single second, this guy — a 21-year-old Air National Guardsman — ran this operation alone.’”

Kash Patel, former chief of staff at the Pentagon and former deputy director of National Intelligence, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Friday, questioned the evolving narrative over the Pentagon leaks — specifically that a 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guard reservist acted alone to leak top secret military data.

“…“This is crazy sensitive stuff,” he said. “Ninety-nine percent of people who have a Top Secret/SCI clearance don’t have access to this information. And me, as the former deputy DNI and chief of staff of the DOD and publisher of the [Presidential Daily Brief], with the highest security classification, knows that, literally, there is not a lot of people in the U.S. that have access to this kind of intel. It’s done for a reason. So this doesn’t happen.”…

…“I think he’s definitely working with other people in DOD or the intel space to get this information out. This is an Assange-style operation. This kid — no offense to him — at 21 years old, cannot put out this five-months, unlawful disclosure of sensitive intelligence,” he said.

Patel said the tradecraft around the way the leaks are being disclosed also suggests a cover-up of how damaging the leaks are.

“I think the DOD and the [intelligence community] gave it to [the New York Times and the Washington Post],” he said. “They’re giving it to them to say we need, you know, we needed a cover-up. We need to make sure people think Ukraine’s working, we need to make it seem like it’s one rogue 21-year-old actor in some airbase in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.”

“The amount of intelligence they got…Somebody’s giving them that type of documentation. It’s just not readily available,” he said about the reporting. “Where did they get that from? That doesn’t come from anyone who doesn’t have direct access at the end in the United States.”

“That the New York Times and Washington Post ‘broke’ this story, that also leads me to believe it’s the same tradecraft from Russiagate, that when deep state actors want stuff out there, they put it out to their sources,” he said. “Am I to believe that these two newspapers found this guy out first, before the FBI? That’s absurd. That’s the timeline we’re being told. So now, we have better investigators at the New York Times and the Washington Post than in the FBI?”

“This is an extensive cover-up,” Patel said of Teixeira’s arrest. “It’s going to go on for some time, and they needed a quick victory. This kid should be prosecuted, no questions asked, no questions about it in my mind — he broke the law and needs to be prosecuted.”…”

Greenwald: Corporate Journalists Report Classified Info All The Time With “Authorized Leaks” From Anonymous Sources

“…Anybody whoever has picked up the ‘New York Times,’ ‘The Washington Post’ or has the misfortune of hearing MSNBC or CNN knows that corporate journalists, every single day, report classified information that has been leaked. They go on TV all the time and they say anonymous sources told us X, Y, and Z…

…Yet, none of this kind of uproar ever happens because those are authorized leaks,” Greenwald continued. “These are things the CIA or the FBI or the Pentagon want the American people to hear. It’s a form of propaganda. What’s different here is that this was an unauthorized leak. It reveals that the Biden administration has been lying about the extent of their role in Ukraine and a whole variety of other things about this extremely important war.”

“Whatever your views on what war are we should want to know about this, but they don’t want us to know about it,” he said. “So now it’s suddenly we have to clamp down harder. We have to keep things more secret. We have to spy on you and take away your rights. And the amazing thing is as you just showed the people demanding this most loudly are people who call themselves journalists. They’re the ones down at the Pentagon saying do more to keep everything secret except for the things you tell us to tell the American people.”

“You showed Edward Snowden in the package you put together and that was the reporting we did now 10 years ago or so. And what that showed was under Obama in the name of the war on terror, all this immense, mass indiscriminate spying aimed at the American people is being conducted. Courts ultimately ruled it was unconstitutional in the legal. But it never really went anywhere, Jesse. They still have this gigantic spying system in place. Not on Al-Qaeda or China or ISIS, but at the American people. That is the framework of the U.S. security state. They regard American citizens as enemies and they are using this incident now as an excuse to justify even more domestic spying,”…”

Media Is to Blame for Covid Vaccines’ Wall of Infallibility

“…The dam wall has finally broken. In the US and Australia, the chapter of silence on reporting Covid-19 vaccine injuries appears to have slammed shut, due in no small part to Christine Middap’s excellent series of reports in the Australian.

Throughout the pandemic criticism of masks or lockdowns was permissible, if frowned upon, but the vaccines attained an almost exalted status that ensured any critics – no matter the quality of their evidence – were unfairly disparaged as “anti-vaxxers,” “cookers,” or simply ignored.

Why this was so remains hard to explain, but some fault must lie with a too credulous, incurious mainstream media, naive to the political and financial forces that pushed governments to eschew the more sensible path of voluntary Covid-19 vaccination.

At the very outset, compelling entire populations to take a scientifically novel vaccine, produced on a political timetable, against a disease that for the bulk of people was a bad cold, was a highly questionable policy, arguably trashing traditional medical ethics about informed consent.

Yet even as it became clear throughout 2021 and 2022 that the experts pushing vaccine mandates had been wrong over and over again, “safe and effective” remained the mantra.

Governments and experts insisted vaccines stopped transmission when they clearly didn’t, even though Pfizer later admitted it hadn’t even studied that question.

There was never a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” Breakthrough cases were never “rare.” Indeed, by 2022 it was clear that a big chunk of those dying from or with Covid-19 had been boosted. It remains an awkward fact that far more people have died from or with Covid-19 since the vaccine rollout (which targeted the most vulnerable groups first) than before, a weak prima facie case for a supposedly “highly effective” vaccine.

Warning signs were flashing bright red about safety all along.

Throughout 2021 the US government’s own vaccine injury reporting system, VAERS – for which it is a felony to file a false claim, not to mention time-consuming – suggested a massive, unprecedented increase in potential injuries. Sure, many would be spurious, but how such a surge was largely ignored continues to boggle the mind.

On top of that, most countries are nursing unprecedented and largely unexplained increases in excess mortality, which a recent study from Norway concluded was partly attributable to the share of the population that was vaccinated in 2021, alongside a host of other variables.

Let’s pray that the conclusion, which has received next to zero media coverage, falls apart when it reaches the peer-review stage…”

The Liberal Media’s Narrative on the Classified Docs Leaker Already Got Torched

“…The initial Times piece, which has been scrubbed, mentioned Mr. Teixeira’s involvement in an online gaming chat group called Thug Shaker Central, which allegedly posted content about their affinity for firearms, other video games, and racist memes. There’s the fuse: white guy, love of guns, and racist memes. The right-wing extremism seeds were planted and spread by other outlets that cited the initial reporting.

One of the initial stories about Mr. Teixeira and his online pals has been scrubbed. The latest article looks very different from what was originally reported via the WayBack machine. It’s a definite reshuffle, but was this an aborted salvo aimed at starting a bushfire when some things didn’t line up regarding the phantom right-wing extremist threat within the military? It’s a line that the media harped about post-Janaury 6. Who knows. But you can see how the antiwar element might cause the extremist white guy narrative to hit the curb, which is probably why the excerpts in the blockquote above were relegated to the international section of the site…”

This is an unusual story. It is possible that the real motivations and actors in this are as simple as it looks from the filter of the garbage media. Which is the only information available. It is also possible that this kid was selected, manipulated, and set up as an unwitting fall-guy for media idiots to fixate on and to relieve pressure on the administration and prepare the public for bad news relating to our investment of hundreds of billions of tax dollars in Ukraine.

I don’t know. I don’t trust our government to tell the truth. I don’t trust garbage media for anything.

The Same Establishment Playbook is Used to Malign the Character of Leakers and Distract Attention From the Substance of the Revelations

“…On a virtually daily basis, one can find authorized leaks in The New York TimesThe Washington Post, on CNN and NBC News: meaning stories dressed up as leaks from anonymous sources that are, in fact, nothing more than messaging assertions that the CIA, FBI, Homeland Security and the Pentagon have instructed these subservient media corporations to disseminate. When that happens, the leaker is never found or punished: even when the leaks are designated as the most serious crimes under the U.S. criminal code, such as when The Washington Post‘s long-time CIA spokesman David Ignatius in early 2017 published the contents of the intercepted phone calls between Trump’s incoming National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Most of Russiagate was constructed based on authorized leaks, a generous way of describing official propaganda from the U.S. Security State laundered in the American corporate press.

But when it comes to unauthorized leaks — which result in the disclosure of secret evidence showing that the U.S. Security State lied, acted corruptly, or broke laws — that is when the full weight of establishment power comes crashing down on the head of the leaker. They are found and arrested. Their character is destroyed. And now — in a new and genuinely shocking escalation — it is the largest media corporations themselves, such as the Times and the Post, that actually do the FBI’s work by hunting down the leaker, exposing him, and ensuring his arrest.

This playback is always used in such cases and is easily recognized. The point is to shift attention from the substance of the embarrassing and incriminating disclosures onto the personal traits of the person who exposed them, so as to make the public forget about what they learned and come to see the leaker as so unlikable that they want nothing to do with the disclosures themselves…”

Downtown SF Whole Foods Made Weekly Emergency Calls Ahead of Closure

“…Data obtained by The Standard shows that a Downtown Whole Foods that opened in March 2022 and abruptly closed this week was the site of several overdoses, psychiatric episodes and other emergencies during its first six months of operations.

The fire department was dispatched 35 times to the Whole Foods at 1185 Market St. between the time it opened in March of last year and October 2022, according to the most recent data immediately available. Those calls were a mix of overdoses, medical emergencies and other disturbances such as reports of assaults and people bleeding at the high-end grocer.

One September 2022 overdose resulted in the death of a 30-year-old man named Steven Clark, who is remembered by family as an award-winning clarinet player who suffered from mental illness and addiction, according to his obituary.
