Sasse confirms Senate exit plan, says decision ‘has exactly zero to do’ with Trump impeachment vote
Uh-huh.
“…The largest US barge operator warned customers it won’t be able to make good on deliveries. Ingram Barge Company declared force majeure in a letter to customers due to “near-historic” low water conditions on the Mississippi, the top route to get US grains and soybeans to the world market…”
Low water conditions hurt commerce, but that does not make them uncommon or catastrophic.
Coming on top of Biden’s war on fuel prices and truckers, it hurts a lot. California wants to ban diesel big rigs. Democrats indulge in delusion to virtue-signal to their friends.
“…President Joe Biden, who promised a more competent and unifying administration, is failing to reach at least 50% approval on any of the nation’s top 10 issues.
Overall, Biden is underwater like his ratings-challenged predecessor. In the latest Ipsos survey, 40% approve of the job Biden is doing as president, while 53% disapprove.
But his failure really stands out in how the public views how he is doing on key issues, including the economy and crime.
The issue he still gets the best grade on is handling COVID-19, but that is now below 50%, at 47%…”
Desperation.
He has nothing he can run on. His policies have failed across the boards.
Sikh family kidnapped in broad daylight by suspected career criminals, and murdered. For what? Where's Gavin Newsom? Prancing around talking about climate change and trolling Republican governors?
Arm yourselves, it's the wild west in CA and citizens are on our own. Lawless. https://t.co/z5wgq0ZxPI

The mRNA Covid vaccines are killing people, plain and simple.
Best guess, they lead to about a 10% rise in non-Covid mortality and no reduction in Omicron deaths.
This is Australian data, very clean because AUS had ~no Covid before vaccines; deaths are 17% above normal in 2022. pic.twitter.com/Rbc4qk9AV3

The combination of Trump and Covid broke this man. Pathetic.
“…Fox News reports that Biden plans to release 10 million barrels from the reserve….”
That’s five days of the OPEC cut.

“…Did OPEC+ aim to weaken President Biden before the midterms?…”
No.
OPEC took advantage of the bumbling green stupidity of the western elite to make as much money as possible.

Biden turns to Venezuela to try and get more oil. American companies will drill for oil in Venezuela, and that’s okay for global warming, whereas it’s not okay for those same companies to drill in the U.S.
The policy is patently stupid. Stupid. World leaders know this and take advantage of Biden’s bumbling.

This entire situation is Biden’s fault. His lurch to the wacky green left has brought this on. Policies untethered to reality except in the nether land of the international liberal elite.

It is no coincidence that global leaders of pariah states take inflammatory actions at this time. They sense confusion, weakness, bad decisions from the leader of the free world and they want to get in on the act and get their concessions too.
Biden thought it would be a political win for OPEC to increase production, so the US wouldn’t have to, thereby avoiding the wrath of green elites in his party. Instead, he’s undermined America’s standing in the world, helped Putin, and worsened inflation.https://t.co/ygwOZqPIBk

Biden sacrificed his stated commitment to human rights for short-term political needs. Instead of pleading with OPEC+ to maintain or increase high levels of oil production, Biden could have simply allowed for expanded domestic oil production.

The underlying motivation for Biden is political. Biden and Democrats are trying shut down the U.S. oil & gas industry, which they view as friendlier to Republicans, in terms of campaign financing, than to Democrats.
It’s undermining national securityhttps://t.co/eVFoGvZp4g
