Unthinking nonsense. Pure politics. They cannot replace our current sources of energy with wind and solar. it does not work. Germany tried it and it failed. Failure does not deter these Democrats. Failure appears to be a preferred outcome. Failure while pursuing the preferred Democrat fantasies of the moment results in personal political capital inside the “fail-up” system.
Clean energy sources that are viable partial options include dam-based energy production, geothermal, and nuclear. Not much else.
Power grids based on wind fail when the wind does not blow.
Power grids based on solar fail when the sun does not shine.
There is no viable method to store energy on a regional grid system.
This is not complicated.
