Top Ontario Health Minister urges ‘immediate censorship of doctors.’ Nothing says confidence in your position like when you call for censorship of those who disagree with you

This woman should be removed from her duties. I can’t believe Canadians would allow this. Medical tyranny.

Behold a Pale Horse (1964)

An excellent film that received mixed reviews and performed poorly at the box office. Outstanding cast. Outstanding director. This is a man’s movie, however.

The question is why did Artiguez shoot Carlos instead of Viñolas?

Another question, was Celestina, the housekeeper, a plant working for Carlos?

A front line student who experienced Covid medical tyranny up close in the classroom.

The people that perpetrated this disaster on our children must be held to account. That includes policy makers, local bureaucrats, administrators, and teachers.

The tyrannical freaks must be called out and rejected.

An exceptional American who fought on the wrong side in one of the great mistakes of mankind. You cannot erase his legacy. You can learn from it.

Virginia Governor Youngkin fires DEI office. Appoints new Director.

“…Glenn Youngkin has asked all of the state’s DEI employees to resign and tapped anti-critical race theory leader Angela Sailor to lead the department. In her first move, Sailor eliminated the word “equity” and replaced it with “opportunity.” Angela Sailor, a former policy expert at The Heritage Foundation was formally named the state’s new DEI director of diversity, equity and inclusion…”

FBI raids Texas home of Democrat Henry Cuellar who has been critical of Biden’s border policies

10 years ago I would not have made much of this. The FBI/DOJ have become so politicized, and so bad in the intervening years that today I question this and want more information. Is this political intimidation?

Sinema wears red, casts deciding vote to keep filibuster

https://twitter.com/goodblackdude/status/1484008518390718468

The US Senate on Wednesday voted 49-51 to block the Democrat bill to legalize voter fraud from moving to a final passage vote.

The Senate also voted 48-52 against changing the filibuster rule to pass the voting fraud bill with a simple majority as Democrat Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema voted against the move.

Senator Manchin: “…Democrat colleagues have taken to the Senate floor, cable news airwaves to argue that repealing the filibuster is restoring the vision the founding fathers intended for this deliberate body. My friends, that is simply not true…”

‘Vaccine Passports are no longer relevant’

“…Professor Cyrille Cohen is head of Immunology at Bar Ilan University and a senior member of the advisory committee for Vaccines for the Israeli Government.

    • The Green Pass / vaccine passport concept is no longer relevant in the Omicron era and should be phased out (he expects it to be in short order in Israel)
    • He and his colleagues were surprised and disappointed that the vaccines did not prevent transmission, as they had originally hoped
    • The biggest mistake of the pandemic in Israel was closing schools and education – he apologised for that
    • Widespread infection is now an inevitable part of future immunity — otherwise known as herd immunity
    • Omicron has accelerated the pandemic into the endemic phase, in which Covid will be “like flu”…”

Censorship is a great mistake made by those scared that their arguments are weak and will not withstand scrutiny.

Vinay Prasad:

“…I am an associate professor of epidemiology and biostatistics, as well as a practising physician, and I firmly believe that it would be a mistake to censor Rogan under the guise of combating “misinformation”.

Rogan is not a scientist, and, like everyone else, he has his biases. But he is open-minded, sceptical, and his podcast is an important forum for debate and dialogue. It is not enough, moreover, to simply dismiss Malone and McCullough as conspiracy theorists. They are controversial and polarising figures, but they do have real credentials. Malone is a physician who has worked in molecular biology and drug development for decades, while McCullough was, until recently, an academic cardiologist and researcher.

Both speakers made accurate and useful points on Rogan’s podcast — as well as unsupported, speculative, alarmist, and false ones. The correct way to deal with incorrect ideas in biomedicine, if they rise to a level of prominence that warrants rebuttal, is to rebut them.

In what follows, I attempt to assess their main claims, explaining what they get right and what they get wrong. I cannot address every point that the two of them made — both episodes are close to three hours long — but I hope that I can provide some clarity in a debate that often lacks it…”
