Democrats Still Lying About Ferguson Seven Years Later

“…One of their more enduring myths is the story that Democrats and their flying monkeys in the mainstream media have been spinning about what happened in Ferguson, Mo., in early August of 2014. Yes, Michael Brown was fatally shot by officer Darren Wilson.

That’s pretty much the last fact that the right and left in America agree on.

The story that grew out of that galvanized the nascent Black Lives Matter movement and brought it into the spotlight. “Hands up, don’t shoot!” was being repeated everywhere. Brown never actually said that but that didn’t matter once it was repeated for the thousandth time in the MSM. Despite the fact that Wilson was never indicted and even the Obama Dept. of Justice debunked a lot of the false narrative, prominent Democrats still love lying about Ferguson.

Kevin had a post yesterday about this lie that keeps on giving for the Democrats, this time from Cori Bush:

When we marched in Ferguson, white supremacists would hide behind a hill near where Michael Brown Jr. was murdered and shoot at us.

They never faced consequences.

Democrats are allowed to lie about Ferguson with impunity. Yes, we’re writing about it here at conservative media outlets but it’s a safe bet that The New York Times or The Washington Post won’t be exhibiting any curiosity about this latest mendacious word barf from the always execrable Rep. Bush. She could start telling stories about being attacked by a ship full of space alien invaders who all look like Donald Trump and there would be shrugs all around in the MSM.

The Steele Dossier and the End of Shame In American Politics

“…The famous philosopher and mathematician Blaise Pascal once declared that “the only shame is to have none.” The problem with shame is that it requires a sense of guilt over one’s actions. In the age of rage, there appear fewer and fewer actions that are beyond the pale for politics. Take Adam Schiff and the Steele dossier. While even the Washington Post has admitted that it got the Russian collusion story wrong in light of the findings of Special Counsel John Durham, House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is still insisting that he was absolutely right to promote the discredited Steele dossier. Schiff’s interview on NBC’s Meet the Press may be the final proof of the death of shame in American politics.

Schiff was one of the greatest promoters of the Steele dossier despite access to briefings casting doubt about Steele and the underlying claims. However, Schiff recently has attempted to defend himself by claiming that Steele was a respected former spy and that he was lied to by a Russian source.

Schiff told host Chuck Todd:

“I don’t regret saying that we should investigate claims of someone who, frankly, was a well-respected British intelligence officer. And we couldn’t have known, of course, years ago that we would learn years later that someone who is a primary source lied to him. [Igor] Danchenko lied to Christopher Steele and then lied to the FBI. He should be prosecuted. He is being prosecuted. And I’ll tell you this, if he’s convicted, he should not be pardoned the way Donald Trump pardoned people who lied to FBI agents, like Roger Stone and Mike Flynn. There ought to be the same standard in terms of prosecuting the liars. But I don’t think there ought to be any pardon, no matter which way the lies cut.”

Schiff’s spin is enough to cause permanent vertigo…”

Over the last 10 years Democrats (and liberal media) have achieved a special skill in defeating or otherwise ignoring the normal human emotions of shame and embarrassment. Many Democrats have none of either, though both are well deserved.

The Media’s Verdict on Kyle Rittenhouse

I thought he drove across state lines, to Kenosha, Wisc., with an illegally acquired semi-automatic rifle to a town to which he had no connection. I thought he went there because he knew there were Black Lives Matter protests and he wanted to start a fight. And I thought that by the end of the evening of August 25, 2020, he had done just that, killing two peaceful protestors and injuring a third.

It turns out that account was mostly wrong.

Unless you’re a regular reader of independent reporting — Jacob Siegel of Tablet Magazine and Jesse Singal stand out for being ahead of the pack (and pilloried, like clockwork, for not going along with the herd) — you would have been served a pack of lies about what happened during those terrible days in Kenosha. And you would have been shocked over the past two weeks as the trial unfolded in Wisconsin as every core claim was undermined by the evidence of what actually happened that night.

This wasn’t a disinformation campaign waged by Reddit trolls or anonymous Twitter accounts. It was one pushed by the mainstream media and sitting members of Congress for the sake of an expedient political narrative—a narrative that asked people to believe, among other unrealities, that blocks of burning buildings somehow constituted peaceful protests…”

• • Gaige Grosskreutz, 28, was shot by Kyle Rittenhouse in August 2020, and appeared as the prosecution’s star witness last week
  • DailyMail.com has learned Grosskreutz is a violent career criminal with a laundry list of prior offenses and convictions stretching back more than a decade
  • These include domestic abuse, prowling, trespass, two DUIs, felony burglary and two charges of carrying a firearm while intoxicated
  • Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger was well aware of this when he paraded Grosskreutz as a paragon of selfless virtue in front of the jury
  • Less than ten days before he was shot by Rittenhouse, Grosskreutz was arrested and charged with prowling when he was caught videotaping cops’ personal cars
  • But the Rittenhouse jury heard none of this because just six days before he took the stand, Grosskreutz’s DUI charge was dismissed on a technicality
  • Had Grosskreutz’s latest DUI charge not been dismissed, Rittenhouse’s defense would have been allowed to question him under oath about the offense

Austria rises against “health dictatorship”

“…The police and the army refuse to control the health pass in the name of “freedom and human dignity”. They will join a large demonstration against compulsory confinement on November 20, 2021 in Vienna.

Just days after Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg decided to confine unvaccinated people, politicians and unions, call for a vast uprising against this unique freedom-killing measure in the world. The leader of the Freedom Party (FPÖ) Herbert Kickl, called for a ”  mega-demonstration” on November 20 in Vienna.

Shortly thereafter, Austrian Armed Forces Union (FGÖ) President Manfred Haidinger followed suit and joined in in a letter published on 14 November. He intends to “defend fundamental rights and freedoms”. The FGÖ specifies that “everyone” is authorized to demonstrate, even in the event of confinement!
The obligation of control imposed by the Minister of the Interior, Karl Nehammer has already been rejected by the police union. In addition, the Union of Austrian Armed Forces announces that they will participate in this great gathering in Vienna…”
