We are governed by self righteous idiots. I blame the people that voted for these fools. The Transportation Secretary is learning to breast feed while the country is in a supply chain crisis. The President’s spokesperson is triggered by questions about this.

We are governed by idiots. They do not think it is even necessary to try. They despise you. They think you are an idiot because you are not in their group.

Contempt. That is the word that comes to mind when I watch this.

The meaning of collusion. Big Pharma. Big Government. Big Media. Big Politics. Big shit. Big Bullshit. Recognize it. Reject it.

Racism is now officially a public health crisis in New York City. I think insanity is a public health crisis in New York City. Also known as governing while Democrat.

Preposterous nonsense.

Democrats.

This is who they are.

This is all they’ve got, along with Climate and Covid.

A victory of sorts for Southwest employees

Southwest drops plan to put unvaccinated staff on unpaid leave starting in December

    • Southwest scrapped a plan to put unvaccinated workers with pending exemptions on unpaid leave after the Dec. 8 deadline.
    • Both American and Southwest require their new-hire employees to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination before their first day.
    • Large airlines are federal contractors and subject to a Biden administration order that requires their employees to be vaccinated or receive an exemption for medical or religious reasons.

Shipping Containers That Spent Weeks Aboard Ships Stuck At Ports Now Being Dumped In Nearby Neighborhoods

“…WILMINGTON (CBSLA) — With the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach now running 24/7 operations, a new problem has occurred. Many of the shipping containers that spent weeks onboard ships waiting to be unloaded are now being dumped in nearby neighborhoods once they’re emptied.

Sonia Cervantes lives along Anaheim Street, where UCTI Trucking Company is located. The company’s lot only has a capacity for 65 containers so the additional containers now line up along Anaheim Street in front of some people’s homes…”

It appears the bottleneck is in shipping the containers once they are unloaded at the ports. Biden’s plan to unload containers more quickly will compound the problem not alleviate it.

Biden energy policy is a total failure.

Biden on Energy Crisis: Begging Others to Save Him From Himself

“…President Joe Biden is drowning in a sea of crises of his own creation, and Americans are the ones who are paying the price.

There’s an ongoing humanitarian and national security calamity at the southern border.

Thirteen U.S. service members are dead, and an unknown number of our citizens remain stranded in Afghanistan following Biden’s disastrous withdrawal.

COVID-19 is still rampant, despite Biden’s promises that he would defeat the virus, while his vaccine mandate has divided the country.

Americans are not taking the millions of jobs available and the economy is stalled, as many have chosen the option of being paid by the government to stay home instead of working.

Biden’s administration failed to identify the growing supply chain disruption, which did not occur overnight and threatens to further strangle the economy. Labor shortages are a contributing factor, including a lack of truck drivers to help unload ships and transport goods (see the above point about workers not accepting available jobs).

And energy prices continue to rise, helping to drive mounting inflation and hurting Americans—especially those with moderate or low incomes—at a time when the economy should be hitting its stride coming out of the pandemic lockdowns.

It is on the costs of energy where Biden’s failures are most starkly visible…

And

…Biden’s approach has been an economic disaster.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the price of crude oil has jumped by 64% to a seven-year high. The cost of natural gas has doubled in just six months. Heating oil is more expensive by 68%, just in time for winter. And gasoline is over $3 per gallon on the national average, up by almost a dollar over the past year.

Energy costs are one driver of inflation, which is already a concern and could get worse.

The situation he created has led Biden into embarrassing situations where he has been forced to plead for rescue.

Over the summer, his administration begged OPEC to increase oil production to combat rising gasoline prices. It refused.

This month, Reuters reported that the Biden White House has approached domestic oil and gas producers, asking for help. These are the very companies that Biden has been demonizing and now he wants them to save him from himself…”

Insanity as policy. Bad decisions. Bad judgement. Bad results for our great country.

Rachel Levine, openly transgender health official, to be sworn in as four-star admiral

“…WASHINGTON – A senior Biden health appointee who made history when she became the nation’s highest-ranking openly transgender official is also set to become its first openly transgender four-star officer, the administration announced on Tuesday.

Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health, will be sworn in Tuesday as an admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, a 6,000-person force that responds to health crises on behalf of the federal government, including administering coronavirus vaccines and delivering care after hurricanes. Levine is also the organization’s first-ever female four-star admiral…”

Australia goes full authoritarian. I never would have believed it. Our government has to adjust our relationship with Australia. We have to treat them as an authoritarian state.

A remarkable demonstration of Biden Administration foreign policy…

Biden foreign policy may be defined as “Total Failure.”

A remarkable example of government mismanagement. Local politicians don’t see this as a negative. They see this as a reason to hire more and spend more. There is a perverse incentive to never solve problems.

L.A. Democrats Lose Millions Writing Traffic Tickets

“…In yet another example of poor leftist fiscal management, Crosstown reports that the city of Los Angeles now spends more money on traffic and parking enforcement than it collects from traffic fines. That’s right, our leftist leaders continue to lose money writing traffic tickets in one of the world’s most car-crazy cities.

“Over the past five years, fines from parking tickets have brought in over $617 million to the city of Los Angeles,” said Crosstown. “But over that same time, the department in charge of writing those tickets ran up costs of more than $809 million in salaries, equipment and other expenses.” In other words, that means parking and traffic enforcement cost the city of L.A. $192 million more than was generated in revenue from traffic tickets.

And no, the ticket revenue shortfall did not begin with the COVID-19 pandemic. It actually began way back in 2017 and “became particularly outsized in the last two fiscal years,” notes Crosstown. “In those 24 months, the parking and traffic enforcement division spent almost $121 million more than it took in through citations.” In the heart of the pandemic there were fewer people living and working in the city itself, so that meant fewer “expired meters or blocked fire hydrants,” but that brief time doesn’t explain the continued shortfall. And officers had the “added duties of monitoring COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites,” but other factors must also have contributed to the decreasing ticket revenue…”
