Trump Reportedly Working to Oust McConnell as Senate Minority Leader, Trying to Find a GOP Senator Interested in Mounting a Challenge

I consider McConnell an experienced and talented politician. On the other hand, his betrayal of Trump after the 2020 election indicates where his heart is. His heart is in the swamp. McConnell is a swamp creature. It is probably best to find a younger replacement with no attachment, or limited attachment, to the Washington bureaucracy. Is it possible? Does such a Washington creature exist? I don’t know.

I’m inclined to think it is time for change.
