“…SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, MI — Members of the Shiawassee County Board of Commissioners agreed to share a windfall in federal COVID-19 relief funds with employees last week.
What they didn’t tell the public was that top-level administrators for the county would receive far bigger payments — up to $25,000 each — than front-line workers who were directly exposed to coronavirus as they cleaned buildings and provided vaccines to residents.
The breakdown written by County Coordinator Brian Boggs shows employees identified as “cleaning staff” received $2,000 each and all other employees received $1,000.

“…Sky News host Alan Jones says Joe Biden “has to be taken out of circulation” after a CNN Town Hall filled with blunders, including an “incoherent rambling about men on the moon and aliens”. “…State Comptroller Glenn Hegar, who controls billions of dollars in assets for Texas’ public pension funds has already told his office to take action. In a statement to CNBC he said, “I’ve directed my staff to determine whether any specific action has been taken by Ben & Jerry’s or Unilever would trigger a listing under Chapter 808 of the Texas Government Code,” the law passed in 2017.
It is also possible sales in states with anti-boycott laws could be impacted. If Ben & Jerry’s or Unilever bids for a contract at a public institution, they could be disqualified if the boycott becomes a reality.
Florida state CFO Jimmy Patronis, who controls public pension funds, told CNBC his office started discussing the issue Tuesday morning. “I find what’s taking place very concerning,” he said in a text. But he wasn’t prepared to say what action might be taken…”

4. Matlock getting canceled – Hoo boy, was he furious about this.
5. That one time a reporter asked him an actual question – The one time this happened in all of human history, he said it was “just like that Gettysburg thing.”
6. “You know, the thing!” – We aren’t sure what he was talking about here, but it was definitely worse than the Civil War.
7. Taco Bell discontinuing the Caramel Apple Empanada – OK, he’s got a point here.
8. Catholic priests denying him Communion for not believing Catholic things – A true outrage and definitely worse than the ACW.
9. When the world was destroyed in World War 3 back in February 2020 – You probably don’t even remember this war between us and Iran. Because you’re dead.
10. The New York Post reporting on his son’s laptop – Pickett’s Charge has nothing on this national tragedy.

“…On Wednesday morning, Fox News reported that the Department of Education (DOE) included the “Guide for Racial Justice & Abolitionist Social and Emotional Learning” from the Abolitionist Teaching Network in its roadmap for school reopening following COVID-19. Following the report, the Biden administration called the inclusion an “error” in a statement to Fox News.
“The Department does not endorse the recommendations of this group, nor do they reflect our policy positions,” the Department of Education (DOE) said in a statement. “It was an error in a lengthy document to include this citation.”
The Abolitionist Teaching Network (ATN) guide certainly did not make the first draft by mistake, and it absolutely reflects a number of the Biden administration’s policies. The document is only 53 pages long, relatively short for anything produced by the government. It includes several pictures and graphics and several pages of references. ATN bases its content on critical race theory (CRT) in practice, and the Biden administration uses the language derived from CRT constantly.
How many times have you heard the words “diversity,” “equity,” and “inclusion” fall out of their mouths? The language of social justice warriors is in every executive order, most daily press briefings, and the speeches of the president and other senior officials. The Biden administration declared racism a public health issue and proposed doling out COVID-19 vaccines based on skin color rather than age…”
