I think Kristi Noem’s opposite decision in South Dakota where she caved in the face woke threats from college sports entities has hurt her reputation nationally. Especially with this strong stance by DeSantis. I like Kristi Noem a lot, I understand circumstances sometimes force compromise even on important issues, but her decision to back down from woke threats was a significant mistake. I think she will recover from it, but it has hurt in the next national election cycle.
