Trump 2, Democrats 0

The obsessive hatred of President Trump and the extreme measures the Democrats, media, and anti-Trump Republicans have taken in their efforts to ruin the man have resulted in roughly half the country having reduced trust in the institutions of government, academia, and the press.

It was not Trump that was the extreme outlier, it was the haters. They still hate. They are perverse in their hatred.

Trump’s greatest achievement – he had many achievements during his four years – is to expose the haters for who they are and many of our institutions as biased and corrupt.

Our system of government is the best in the world; the best that has ever existed. No matter how good the system, the government is only as good as the citizens who run it. The Trump years have shown that a large percentage of those citizens are among the worst of our great country.

I encourage President Trump to take a well deserved rest. A short rest.

I encourage President Trump to then reenter the public discourse. Seventy five million Americans voted for him a few short months ago. He is leader of the Republican party. No other politician is even close. Rally your voters, Mr. President, and remember the great saying of Winston Churchill:

In War: Resolution

In Defeat: Defiance

In Victory: Magnanimity

In Peace: Goodwill

This is political war. We just suffered an election defeat. We need resolution and defiance.

Resolution and defiance tempered by a vision for the future of our great country based on our founders principles and the great strength of our fathers who have bequeathed to us the greatest hope of man on earth, America.
