“…Since the 1970’s, the enviro freaks have been taking us on various rides in the name of protecting Earth that are all over the place. We were going to freeze to death. Then we were going to boil to death.
On a smaller scale, we were told that we had to stop using paper grocery bags because we were killing too many trees to make them. The switch to plastic bags was on, all in the name of being noble and Earth-saving do-gooders.
By the time the 21st century rolled around, the plastic bags were Satan because they were assaulting dolphins — it’s always dolphins — or something. Another switch was on, this time to either the tree-killing paper bags, or reusable bags made out of a variety of things.
Before I had escaped from Los Angeles, plastic bags had been banned and everybody got to virtue-signal with cloth bags.
Fast-forward to 2020 and PLAGUE TIMES.
It turns out that the reusable bags are filthy little germ catchers and carriers, the last things anyone wants around while trying to slow the spread of a pandemic virus.
The Poop Sidewalk brain trust that runs San Francisco has even gone so far as to reverse the ban on plastic bags that has been in place for over a decade.
The lesson here is obvious: hippies and enviro freaks are always wrong.

I was flabbergasted when I heard of the Captain’s actions relating to virus aboard his ship. He transmitted his letter to Navy leadership outside normal chain-of-command and through non-secure means. This was an irresponsible action that calls into question the Captain’s judgement. He was responsible for about 5,000 men and billions of dollars of taxpayer investment in a U.S. capital ship. He had been watching too much cable news. If anything, his relief was slower than it should have been. He should face a court-martial.
Another aspect of this incident is that a carrier is usually part of a battle group consisting of multiple military assets under the command of a rear-admiral. the admiral’s flag ship is usually the carrier. How did this incident get by the admiral? The navy has had multiple leadership failures over the last several years.
Here she is on April 2 saying the virus was self evident and most people new about it during the impeachment farce.
Here she is on February 24 telling San Franciscans to visit Chinatown. She says it is perfectly safe to be in Chinatown.
Pelosi was described by the media personality as a real tourist attraction.
She is the worst kind of politician, she takes credit for the work of others; she assigns blame to others for her own mistakes; she claims knowledge and foresight of events when her actions prove otherwise; she panders to identity interest groups. You name it, she is the poster child of bad politics.

That leaves little time to celebrate Greta Thunberg’s latest conquests or the struggles of transgender people, topics that tend to dominate liberal talk shows and newspapers…
…The former vice president’s disappearing act is the fourth reason that Democrats want networks to stop airing the daily briefings. Not only does President Trump occupy center stage, they highlight that Biden occupies no stage at all. Moreover, it is impossible to imagine Biden forcefully commanding the instruments of government; he can barely manage his basement teleprompter.
Finally, liberals want to shut down the president’s TV exposure because the information given out during those briefings is important, like how low-income Americans can access expanded SNAP benefits or how small business owners can apply for a loan to tide them over these tough times…”

“…The Trump campaign has been donating meals to hospitals across the country to feed doctors, nurses and first responders on the front lines of the coronavirus battle, Fox News has learned.
Since last Thursday, President Trump’s reelection campaign has been calling up local restaurants and ordering large amounts of food to be delivered to more than a dozen hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Washington state and Michigan. The campaign has been placing these orders anonymously, but Fox News learned about the effort — and sources confirmed it.
One source told Fox News that the campaign was looking to not only express gratitude for first responders treating patients with COVID-19, but to support local restaurants.
“They’re doing it as a donor who cares,” one source told Fox News. “So nothing politically is tied to it. … We’re just trying to, you know, show a thank you.”
“They’re trying to send things that are like, local restaurants that may need support [and] cool restaurant icons of the area that may need the business,” one source said.
The source told Fox News that the campaign has already spent tens of thousands of dollars on the effort, which they plan to expand in the coming days and weeks.
Fox News confirmed that as part of the donations, an anonymous individual placed a large order at Giovanni’s Italian Deli in Secaucus, N.J., to be delivered to Hudson Regional Hospital.
“They only told us their first name,” an employee of Giovanni’s told Fox News on Thursday. “They called us, and they had us donate meals for the nurses and doctors — an assortment of things, 40 platters of pasta, salads, sandwiches.”
The employee added: “We’re happy to do it. Trust me.”…”

“…An international poll of more than 6,000 doctors released Thursday found that the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine was the most highly rated treatment for the novel coronavirus.
The survey conducted by Sermo, a global health care polling company, of 6,227 physicians in 30 countries found that 37% of those treating COVID-19 patients rated hydroxychloroquine as the “most effective therapy” from a list of 15 options.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration gave chloroquine and its next-generation derivative, hydroxychloroquine, emergency-use authorization Monday for treating the novel coronavirus, although the drug was already being used off-label by some doctors and hospitals for COVID-19 patients…”

If Scarborough knew that a deadly, once-in-a-century pandemic was about to descend on the nation in early January — I assume he considers himself part of “everyone” — why on God’s earth didn’t he warn his susceptible viewers that they should begin social distancing? Why didn’t his producers book a single expert who could beseech his viewers to start wearing masks, to shutter their non-essential businesses, and to avoid church and sporting events? Why didn’t he mention coronavirus at all? Even in late January, nearly a full month after “everyone knew,” Scarborough’s show was dominated by the Donald Trump impeachment trial…”
