The spiralling environmental cost of our lithium battery addiction

Electric cars are about as green as internal combustion cars. Nothing is free. Nothing is without consequences. The rush to green is a fools’ errand, like wearing two or more masks to protect against Covid. The draw is virtue-signaling for the young and stupid or old and self-hating.
