DR. FAUCI BACKED CONTROVERSIAL WUHAN LAB WITH MILLIONS OF U.S. DOLLARS FOR RISKY CORONAVIRUS RESEARCH

FRED GUTERL:

“…But just last year, the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses.

In 2019, with the backing of NIAID, the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million.

Many scientists have criticized gain of function research, which involves manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans, because it creates a risk of starting a pandemic from accidental release.

SARS-CoV-2 , the virus now causing a global pandemic, is believed to have originated in bats. U.S. intelligence, after originally asserting that the coronavirus had occurred naturally, conceded last month that the pandemic may have originated in a leak from the Wuhan lab. (At this point most scientists say it’s possible—but not likely—that the pandemic virus was engineered or manipulated.)…”

FBI found no ‘derogatory’ Russia evidence on Flynn, planned to close case before leaders intervened

This is a terrible abuse of power. I hope the perpetrators pay dearly for this.

John Solomon:

“…Evidence withheld for years from Michael Flynn’s defense team shows the FBI found “no derogatory” Russia evidence against the former Trump National Security Adviser and that counterintelligence agents had recommended closing down the case with a defensive briefing before the bureau’s leadership intervened in January 2017.

The recommendation to close the case came 16 days before President Trump took office with plans to have Flynn serve as his National Security Adviser, and after agents had found no incriminating evidence by sweeping counterintelligence files and talking to confidential human sources, the memos show.

Flynn was given a codename of “Crossfire Razor” during the probe, an apparent spinoff from the larger Russia collusion case known as Crossfire Hurricane.

“The absence of any derogatory information or lead information from these logical sources reduce the number of investigative avenues and techniques to pursue. Per the direction of FBI management, Crossfire Razor was not interviewed as part of the case closing procedure. The FBI is closing this investigation,” the agent wrote on Jan. 4, 2017.

The release of the memo Thursday is the result of extraordinary efforts by Attorney General William Barr to bring transparency to a case that dogged the beginning of the Trump presidency and has since dissolved into controversy over the FBI conduct during it. Barr has named a special prosecutor to review the bureau’s handling of Flynn and determined if any criminal charges are warranted…”

Five weeks and 19 interviews later, presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden has not been asked directly about the substantiated sexual assault accusations from Tara Reade

A devastating summary of journalistic and media malpractice and double standards. Worth clicking over to read the whole thing.

Christopher Bedford:

“…Joe Biden might not be guilty. But the corporate media is.

Here’s what we know. We know Tara Reade alleges that in 1993 her boss, Sen. Joe Biden, sexually assaulted her, and we know that five people have thus far corroborated that she told them about this at the time. We know that, and we know that Vice President Biden denies committing sexual assault, and further, denies his office even received a complaint.

Next, we know that Reade has demanded Biden open his sealed Senate records, which should contain a report if one was filed, and that Biden has thus far refused.

Finally, we know that the corporate media ignored and manipulated this story for weeks and that some still remain silent on it. Just Wednesday morning, one popular Washington newsletter got to the subject after 14 more important stories, choosing to characterize it as “The Story That’s Not Going Away.”

It’s a difficult spot for corporate media to be in. For months, liberal guests, anchors, and reporters at CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and elsewhere propped up Biden’s candidacy against Sen. Bernie Sanders. With a baggage train that stretches to Beijing, and well into a public cognitive decline, he was not the ideal Democratic candidate.

He didn’t embody youth, he wasn’t black, and he’s wasn’t a woman for three, but he also wasn’t gay, broke, or deeply unlikable. Finally, he wasn’t a communist. Or to sum it all up, he seemed the safest bet.

Or was he? Shortly after Sanders was defeated and all declared well, it began to unravel, first with strange interview after strange interview, and then boom: With a five-times corroborated sexual assault allegation. Tough to ignore, right? You’d think so. But maybe not.

The Washington Post interviewed Reade shortly after she made her first, less serious allegation of uncomfortable touching in an essay in April 2019, but didn’t publish the interview. In March 2020, Reade went public with accusations of sexual assault, but still nothing from the Post. The Post did eventually publish — after The New York Times ran a story on the accusations, which was almost three weeks after she went public. The Times editor in chief then admitted the paper quietly edited its story under pressure from the Biden campaign.

A Washington Free Beacon review of all 10 interviews with the vice president in the three weeks after the accusation found nary a question on the charge. On April 16, 24 days after the allegation, a CBS reporter asked Sanders what he thought, but even then couched the question, asking about Sanders ally Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez saying “she thinks its legitimate and relevant to talk about sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden.”

“Do you agree?”

Biden had yet to face one direct question.

It was still another day before CNN reported on the story at all, couching their coverage as “Democrats [grappling] with questions” about the accusation.

On Sunday, not a single morning show mentioned the news. On Monday, The Washington Post’s story was titled, “Trump allies highlight new claims regarding allegations against Biden.” By Tuesday, five weeks into the story, a Media Research Center analysis found 24-hour news network CNN had spent shy of 15 minutes on the story, PBS had spent seven minutes, MSNBC had spent less than five minutes, CBS had spent one minute, and NBC and ABC, zero seconds.

Five weeks and 19 interviews later, Biden has not been asked.

The coverage stands in stark, vivid, bloody contrast with the corporate media’s crucifixion of Justice Brett Kavanaugh — a man accused by two women, one of whom could not prove she’d ever met the judge, and the other, whose accusations were not corroborated by a single source…”

Our largest businesses are invested in globalism

Bill Gates Praises China’s Response to Coronavirus, Slams U.S.

China lied, repeatedly, continuously, and even now. China’s lies and China’s failure to stop Wuhan area Chinese citizens from travelling overseas even while they stopped such citizens from travelling to other internal Chinese regions is the primary cause for the Wuhan Virus becoming a pandemic. The World Health Organization either willfully or incompetently facilitated Chinese disinformation and actions. The reason China does not want their response to the virus to be investigated by outside entities, is because they recognize that their response could be identified as a crime against humanity.

Big business, by that I mean the biggest of big business, has interests that differ from U.S. interests even if they are U.S. based. Big business has been trending Democrat for at least two decades. This trend will continue as Trump’s popular nationalism shuts down late 20th century globalism upon which big business is based.

‘MeToo’ Movement Founder On Biden Sex Assault Allegations: He Can Be ‘Accountable And Electable’

The left’s logical contortions to explain their double standards is amazing

Emily Zanotti:

“…One of the founders of the #MeToo movement, which pledged to root out sexual harassment and sexual violence in the entertainment and media industries and bring perpetrators to swift and decisive justice, is making an exception for former Vice President Joe Biden, recently the subject of a sexual assault allegation.

Tarana Burke, who is widely recognized as the primary activist behind #MeToo — and widely celebrated as the “brave” woman who empowered women in the entertainment industry to finally address widespread sexual harassment and violence — said on social media that, while every woman deserves to be heard and acknowledged when making claims of sexual violence, the situation with Biden is different.

“My stance has never wavered: survivors have a right to speak their truth and to be given the space to heal,” she began, reaffirming the stance of the #MeToo movement.

She then admits, though, an “inconvenient” truth: she’s behind Biden.

“The inconvenient truth is that this story is impacting us differently because it hits at the heart of one of the most important elections of our lifetime. And I hate to disappoint you but I don’t really have easy answers,” she said, clearly struggling with the idea that she might have to condemn someone she’s supporting for higher office.

Burke then kind of implies that Biden’s accuser, a former aide named Tara Reade, may not be as believable as other women she’s stressed should be believed.

“There are no perfect survivors,” she says. “And no one, especially a presidential candidate, is beyond reproach. So where does that leave us?”

That’s when the real pretzel logic begins.

“On the one hand, Tara Reade has been afforded the opportunity to speak her truth through mainstream media reporting on her claims and ongoing investigative journalism,” Burke says, clearly referring to only a handful of stories which have largely discounted Reade’s allegations. “She should have been able to come forward in a process where she was treated fairly, in a trusted system. Instead, like other public survivors before her, she had to rely on journalists in order to be heard – precisely because the systems for survivors are not in place.”

“On the other hand,” Burke adds, “the defense of Joe Biden shouldn’t rest on whether or not he’s a ‘good guy’ or ‘our only hope.”

She then offers Biden a way out: “Instead, he could demonstrate what it looks like to be both accountable and electable.”

In other words, the movement Burke lead, to remove sexual predators from positions of power, only applies when those men are unsavory characters in particular industries. In cases where alleged sexual predators may rise to positions of power that ultimately benefit progressive activists, it’s possible to promote those same alleged sexual predators, albeit with reservations…”

Portland Goes Full Totalitarian, Will Close Streets To Encourage Distancing

JEFF REYNOLDS:

“…Portland, Oregon has gotten famous over the years for its road diet plans. Now the city wants to expand its war on cars, using the Wuhan pandemic as the perfect excuse. The city will use coronavirus as the catalyst to place barricades and signage to let drivers know that their cars no longer belong on the streets…”
