Normally I would say that owners will right this ship quickly to protect their businesses. Now, I don’t know. They seem to have adopted the position that virtue-signalling to elite peers is more important that profits in their businesses.

We’ll see how long they are willing to ride this slow-motion crash before they jump off the train.
