SOCIALIST ACTIVIST WHO HARASSED HOMELAND SECURITY SECRETARY WORKS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
You can’t make this stuff up!
“…One of the activists who chased Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen out of a Mexican restaurant Tuesday night over the Trump administration’s immigration policies is an employee of the Department of Justice, The Daily Caller News Foundation has confirmed.
Members of the Washington, D.C., chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America crashed Nielsen’s meal with a demonstration full of chants and other outbursts.
One of those participants, Allison Hrabar, actually works for the Trump administration — as a paralegal in the DOJ…”

Meltdown on the Left
The IG report on Obama FBI/DOJ/CIA anti-Trump, pro-Clinton bias and the senate and house hearings on the matter are effectively destroying any credibility that may still exist on the Trump-Russia investigation.
To deflect from this reality, the democrats and the left media have launched a coordinated attack on the immigration policies of the Trump Administration. The level of vitriol on the left has reached a new crescendo of screaming and wailing. Insanity is displayed 24/7 on cable news and repeated endlessly in print. The level of craziness is an indicator of how much the IG report hurts the left.
The Ranking Member on the House Oversight Committee, Elijah Cummings, took his time to question IG Horowitz and Director Wray on the Clinton e-mail matter to instead talk about immigration. The idea is to give left media video clips to lead television discussions, and talking points to create articles for print media.
Media savvy Americans will not fall for these tricks. This is 2018, not 1988.
The Long Shot Kid
John Feehery:
“…It was a 150-1 shot.
That’s where Ladbrokes set the odds when Donald Trump announced three years ago that he was running for president.
I guarantee that nobody in either political establishment took that bet from the London bookies when the New York billionaire descended down that escalator with wife Melania, announcing that he was going to stop illegal immigration, rip up unfair trade deals and make America great again.
He was a joke, a laughingstock, an afterthought. He had no chance against the powerful Bush family or Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), the great hope of the Republican consultant class.
In full disclosure, I was one of those doubting Thomases, a prisoner of my own set of expectations. I saw a path forward for John Kasich, the talkative Ohio governor, but not for The Donald. Trump didn’t have the experience or the know-how or the backing of anybody who mattered in politics.
But it turned out that what mattered was not the consultant class or the experts or political whiz-kids. What mattered was the voters. And the voters had grown to detest a political establishment that refused to change the status quo, refused to stop illegal immigration, refused to stop the flow of jobs from the Rust Belt to Mexico, Vietnam and China, refused to care about their concerns about how globalization was destroying the America they once knew and loved…”
Immigration Charade
Roger Simon:
“…That it has been miraculously discovered — despite having been going on for decades — that children are being temporarily incarcerated on the border is a perfect example of that. It’s no accident this surfaced at the moment the FBI is under fire for the Clinton email investigation and the possibility the organization sought to sabotage the presidency of Donald Trump.
So “immigration” is once again the stalking horse for everything but itself. It is a dumb show with the poor of Central America used as pawns. People will throw up their hands in horror and some children will likely get to stay longer with their parents — a good thing, obviously — but the larger reality will not change one iota.
The Democrats, in particular, do not want it to. In that sense they resemble the Palestinians, proclaiming they want a two-state solution even when it’s evident from their behavior the opposite is true…”
Koufax!
Sandy Koufax, Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher, takes a wide stance as he throws a pitch toward the plate at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill., June 20, 1961. Koufax struck out 14 batters and allowed two hits in beating the Chicago Cubs, 3-0.
America = Nazi Germany?
One thing that social media has done for us is expose the utter incompetence, stupidity, and self-involved vacuity of the people in charge of leading our institutions.
Jacob Sullum:
“…Over the weekend, former CIA Director Michael Hayden displayed the calm reflection and sense of proportion for which Donald Trump’s opponents are known by likening the separation of illegal border crossers from their children to the Holocaust…Yes, Trump’s Immigration Policy Is Just Like the Holocaust, Except for the Genocide: Nazi analogies do not strengthen the case against forcibly separating illegal border crossers from their children…”

Immigration Nonsense
The hyper righteousness, holier-than-thou sermonizing, insane comparisons to Nazi Germany, and other democrat and media commentary on illegal immigrant separation from children on arrest, is directly related to the senate and house hearings with the IG and the corruption and bias in the Obama FBI/DOJ/CIA. It is intended to misdirect, confuse, and otherwise shift the media narrative from the IG report to immigration.
Journalists or Democratic Operatives With Bylines
Six Days in June: Nets Flood Broadcasts With 176 Minutes of Separated Kids Coverage
“…Outraged anchors and correspondents at ABC, CBS and NBC attacked the Trump administration for separating children from parents at the border as they overwhelmed their Monday morning and evening news programs with a massive 94 minutes of coverage on the detainment policy.
Overall, in just six days of coverage (June 13 through June 18) the nets have flooded their broadcasts with almost three hours (176 minutes) of emotional segments that included pictures of crying children and accompanying anger from correspondents and pundits alike…”
Catholic Bishops Gear Up to Beat Trump in 2020
They’ve proven themselves unable to maintain a community of faith in the U.S., so I guess they need to import a bunch of Catholic immigrants from Mexico and Central America to make up the difference.
Deal Hudson:
“…Trump/Pence won 52 percent of all Catholic votes and 56 percent of mass-attending Catholics. In the election aftermath, the weeping and wailing at the USCCB must have matched that of Hollywood, the EU, and the mass media…”
The Compassion is Selective
The democrat/media emotional fit over separating children from incarcerated illegal aliens achieves a new height of political hypocrisy. I congratulate them.
The intensity of the immigration debate on the left across many western countries, not just the U.S., can be explained by the observation that existing voters won’t give the left the power it wants, so they are attempting to import new voters. There is also the distraction affect that causes U.S. voters to loose focus on the IG report and political bias in the Obama FBI/DOJ/CIA. Left media can report on the monster Trump separating children instead of bias in government.
Paul Bedard:
“…Over 20,000 children a year are put into foster care because their American parents are taken to jail, 10 times the number of those separated when illegal immigrant parents try to sneak into the U.S. but are caught, according to a commissioner on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. However, unlike the congressional outcry over President Trump’s zero-tolerance policy targeting illegal immigration, there has been no mass protest of or investigation into the separation of children from those in jail…”
Brief Summary of IG Report
Liz Sheld:
“…The elevator pitch version of the IG report can be summarized as follows: the investigation found there was mind-blowing bias among senior officials in the FBI/DOJ against Trump and his moron supporters but the officials claimed it didn’t affect any of their investigations so it’s all good. Move along now…”
Indictment or Whitewash? Both
Kurt Schlichter:
“The IG report, simultaneously a devastating indictment of elite misconduct and a total whitewash, is a symptom of the moral leprosy infecting our elite. It is rotting away our institutions, and the foundations of the United States as we knew it. But the elite can’t, or won’t, even admit to itself what we all see.”

Racism is Wrong Even When Harvard Does It
Political correctness in higher education is out of control and leads to poor decisions and “preferred” minority groups with different acceptance criteria based on race and ethnicity. Hard to believe—or maybe not.
Glenn Reynolds:
“…I wrote four years ago that it looked as if Asian applicants to Harvard were getting the ‘Jewish treatment‘ — that is, being subjected to quotas, and rated down on “soft” qualifications, so as to keep their numbers lower than their objective qualifications would warrant. This is what Ivy League schools did to Jewish applicants for much of the 20th century, because Jewish applicants were seen as boring grinds who studied too hard, and whose parents weren’t rich enough or connected enough to contribute to the schools’ flourishing…”
