Ellen DeGeneres is telling show executives she’s had enough and is ready to call it quits as staffers slam her apology and claim she’s the problem as star hides away and her wife Portia DeRossi walks their dogs

Does it get more fake and phony than this? She has been at the center of liberal pieties and liberal society for at least a decade and the whole time apparently, backstage at her show has been the epicenter of sexual abuse, mistreatment of staff, gay abuse of young interns, etc. Now, she just wants to quit.

How sad.
